David Rumsey Historical Map Collection
Moscow 1745
The first plan of Moscow made using scientific surveying techniques. It was begun in 1731 by I.A. Mordvnow, completed in 1739 by I.F. Michurin, and printed in 1741. This copy comes from the Atlas Russicus of 1745.
